We offer delivery and complimentary pick up options across Sydney, with careful handling and clear communication from booking through to collection.

Delivery

Delivery pricing is based on distance, access requirements and timing. Where possible, we group runs by region to keep fees fair and consistent.

All delivery distances and access details are confirmed by our team prior to booking approval.

Delivery & Pickup Service Bands (from Kenthurst 2156)

Distance is confirmed by our team before approval. If the selected band doesn’t match your address once kilometres are verified, we’ll contact you to confirm the correct option before finalising your booking.

  • 0–10km — Minimum spend $40 — $80
  • 10–20km — Minimum spend $60 — $100
  • 20–30km — Minimum spend $100 — $130
  • 30–50km — Minimum spend $150 — $210
  • CBD — Minimum spend $150 — $250
  • Exact time / After-hours — $120

Delivery standard

Delivery is to a single drop-off point at ground level, with safe vehicle access.

Games are delivered as close as possible to the setup area. Our team does not move items through unsafe, obstructed or inaccessible areas.

Additional charges may apply

To ensure safe handling, additional fees may apply where deliveries and collections require extra time or labour, including but not limited to:

  • Stairs, lifts, escalators, steep driveways or slopes
  • Long carry distance (generally 20m+ from parking/loading access)
  • Difficult access (narrow pathways, multiple trips, restricted entry)
  • Large orders requiring additional labour time
  • After-hours, early morning/late evening access
  • Requests for an exact delivery or collection time

If access details aren’t disclosed at booking, delivery/collection may be delayed and additional charges may apply to complete the job safely.

Pickup

Pickup is available free of charge from Kenthurst (2156).

The pickup address is shared once your booking is confirmed.

  • Pickup by appointment only
  • Please ensure you have a suitable vehicle for your selected items
  • We recommend bringing blankets/towels and straps to protect items in transit

Hire Period

Standard hire includes a maximum hire period of up to 3 days.

Extended hire may be available on request.

FAQ

How do I choose the right delivery band?

Select your best estimate based on location. We’ll verify kilometres before approval and confirm the correct band with you if any changes are needed.

Can you deliver upstairs or into venues?

Yes — where safe and accessible. Stairs, lifts, long carry distances or restricted access may incur an additional fee due to labour/time required.

What counts as “difficult access”?

Examples include stairs, elevators, steep driveways, narrow walkways, multiple trips, difficult parking, or long distance from parking/loading to the setup point.

Do you offer an exact delivery time?

We can, subject to availability. Exact time requests and after-hours delivery/collection incur the additional fee listed above.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

An adult (18+) should be available to receive the items where required. If access is restricted or instructions aren’t clear, delivery may be delayed.

Is pickup really free?

Yes — pickup from Kenthurst (2156) is complimentary. Pickup is by appointment and requires a suitable vehicle to safely transport your items.

What happens if my selected delivery band is incorrect?

No stress — we’ll contact you before finalising to confirm the correct band once kilometres are verified.

What if access is unsafe or blocked on the day?

If we can’t safely deliver or collect due to access issues, delivery/collection may be postponed until it’s safe, and additional fees may apply if extra time is required.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required for certain bookings.

The security deposit is charged to the card on file approximately 7 days prior to the event date and is held as a temporary deposit, not a hire fee.

The deposit amount will be advised at the time of booking approval and may vary depending on the size of the booking, items hired, event type and location.

The security deposit may be used to cover, but is not limited to:

  • Loss or theft of hired items
  • Damage beyond normal wear and tear
  • Missing or incomplete components
  • Excessive cleaning required
  • Damage caused by misuse, weather exposure, moisture or wet ground

If no issues are identified upon collection and inspection of the hired items, the security deposit will be refunded in full within 48 hours of collection.

By proceeding with a booking, the hirer authorises Inside Out Games Hire to retain part or all of the security deposit where necessary to cover repair, replacement or additional costs incurred.
